COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed for workers in the petroleum-convenience business to provide baseline safety and environmental awareness on a variety of topics or as an annual refresher to other existing training. The course consists of 6 sections with a short quiz after each section.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Awareness and understanding of the highest safety, environmental and security risks faced by petroleum convenience workers and information on how to avoid injuries and incidents. Students are also exposed to the concepts of operating in a sustainable and vibrant culture of safety.

Approximately 1 hour

TESTING

After each section of the course there will be a short quiz. Students must pass each quiz with a score of at least 80% before being allowed to continue with the course. Students will be given three chances to pass each quiz. If the student does not pass a quiz on the third chance, they will be required to retake that section of the course. There is no final exam.

COURSE COMPLETION

Upon completion of the course a certificate page can be downloaded and printed that has both a Store Operations Safety License Card and a full-size certificate of completion
